THE LAW AND THE BLOOD
THE LAW AND THE BLOOD
I am adamant again this time to note that even though we are appointed to work in the fields, tending and caring for the Father's vine yard, it is sifting to see who will be a vessel of honour; Worthy to be hired in the great harvest. Those worthy can only be those who preach about the cross and sufficiency of the blood of Christ as it is, and it alone is the power unto salvation and redemption. Our fellowship shall not hold together in love if we return to the law. The ONLY WAY we will be able to maintain a unity of spirit in love and humbleness is to continue to be conscious of the sufficiency of the cross and our VERY NEED FOR IT EVERYDAY. If we fail in this, then we will be pawns of the enemy to return to the law and be used to bring bondage to the multitudes that are already oppressed rather than bring salvation and freedom as was our commission to do. We were to minister what we have received and we have received salvation by grace yet we are swayed by the enemy to preach bondage upon those we go to rather than forgiveness that we ourselves received from the Lord when we came to Him. We do make mistakes of slipping back into legalistic ways in dealing with people. It is my earnest prayer that a sharper eye may be given to us not to do so because it draws men away into Pharisaic way of life results to death and in its fulness is murderous spirit upon those who end not measuring up. If we don't embrace a solitarily life, engaging in a personal relationship with Christ, living in humbleness and knowledge of our short-comings, then it is definitely clear that we are walking the way of the law and of the Pharisees.
It is open and clear that Christ nailed the law on the cross and said " it is finished."
Galatians 5:4-5 If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from God's gracious favor and unmerited blessing). For we, [not relying on the Law but] through the [Holy] Spirit's [help], by faith anticipate and wait for the blessing and good for which our righteousness and right standing with God [our [b]conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action, causes us] to hope.
When we begin to help God by creating does and the don'ts, then it is as if we are recrusifying Jesus once more and the first calvary means nothing to us. It is not what to do and not to do, it is what was done at the Cross. This is not a guarantee to sin. The holiness of God has not changed. Many thinks that there is human effort to live in holiness. HOLINESS IS ONLY BY GRACE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
Be blessed
