VISION OF PEOPLE DESTROYING GOD'S TEMPLE AND A N INSTANT WARNING FROM GOD.
I found myself in the
dream of the Holy Spirit, and I was in a place like a temple with so many people. And as the Holy Spirit made me focus
on the entire congregation, I saw the people begin to behave strangely. They began
to destroy the temple, I could see them demolishing the rooftop of the temple and bringing down
the wall, they became even more wild.
Then the Spirit possessed a man and he begun
to prophecy, he cried out painfully and warned the people from destroying God’s
temple. He warned them that God would judge those who destroy his temple. He
warned them that the rapture would take place any minute and they would be left
out. And I felt terrified for I was
standing among the congregation, I knew that the Judgement of God would strike
the whole of this congregation, then this man faced me and he begun to talk with
me, He asked me whether it was a good thing for people to demolish the temple
of God and I groaned, I felt really bad, and I woke up.
“God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.” 1 Corinthians 3:17
Our body is the temple
of the Holy Spirit and whoever destroys the temple of God will judge, we should be holy therefore
as our father in heaven is Holy; Every sin that a man does is outside the body
but he that commits fornication or sex sins sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who
is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify
God in your body
and in your spirit, which are
God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20
Sexual
sin destroys God’s holy temple, be it
sexual lust, fornication, adultery etc
The
pleasures of sexual sin can sound great, very enticing
and alluring. But there is a price to pay. Although God forgives but a price
must be paid, from losing the presence of God to losing Joy of the Holy Spirit
to Holy Spirit departing and there is an
entire loneliness.
It is the deepest,
penetrating sin that a man can commit because it unites him to another person
in the vileness of that sin.
David after committing
adultery with Bathsheba, in all his
brokenness he penned down psalms 51. Even
though God forgave him, he lived in regret all the days of his life.
All sin are bad and
defiles us. All sin devastates but this sin destroys a person at the
roots of his being.
It harms from the very
deep of the being. Sexual sin devastates and enslaves a soul, it lures
and traps one into the valley of death.
Proverbs 5
All sin progress, like
wise to this sin of sexual sin.
Sin of lust becomes a
driving, compelling, dominating passion and men are taken captive.
Samson was held captive, and died. David lost joy and his son died.
You’ll pay a tremendous
price and it’ll control you and it’ll pervert the design God has for you.
The only way to avoid
sexual sin is to flee, that’s what apostle Paul advices timothy, in 2 Timothy
2:22, “Now flee from youthful
lusts and pursue
righteousness, faith, love and peace, with
those who call on the Lord from a pure
heart.”
“Flee from sexual Immorality….”1
Corinthians 6:18
Joseph was another pretty guy who flee from Potiphar’s wife. It’s not a weakness to flee but its wisdom.
In this post-modern society that
we live in, so many things from the advertisements, to entertainment industry
tend to bring forth a single message;
Sex and how to fulfill its desires.
Flee from those television
programs and movies and songs and magazines that will lure you, that’s the
wisest thing to do. Keep away from the whole scene, it were better if you are
all away for you will never commit any sexual
sin.
To the engaged couples, keep away
from environments that would suggest
otherwise before the right time. All
this is for the Glory of Jesus Christ in our Bodies. You will never face sexual
sin and gain victory. Just walk out. Don't even care whether somebody wont understand, after all so what whether some body care, its your eternity.
Be simple concerning evil
We cannot overcome any sin without
grace from God - but He gives His grace only to the humble; and He helps only
those who are kind and helpful to others.
