Crucified Life by Watchman Nee

You believe in the death of the Lord Jesus and you believe in the death of the thieves with Him. Now what about your own death? Your crucifixion is more intimate than theirs. They were crucified at the same time as the Lord but on different crosses, whereas you were crucified on the selfsame cross as He, for you were in Him when He died. How can you know? You can know for the one sufficient reason that God said so. It does not depend on your feelings. If you feel that Christ has died, He has died; and if you do not feel that He has died, He had died. If you feel that you have died, you have died; and if you do not feel that you have died, you have nevertheless just as surely died. These are divine facts. That Christ has died is a fact, that the two thieves have died is a fact, and that you have died is a fact also. Let me tell you, You have died! You are done with! You are ruled out! The self you loathe is on the Cross of Christ. And "he that is dead is freed from si...

Vision of the desolate and empty House of the Lord at this hour ~ (21/4/2016) Psalms 74

Image
The Holy Spirit took me in a vision to see the Church that is waiting for the coming Messiah. As I walked into the Church, I could see so many empty seats, three quarter of the seats in the Church were empty. I saw lazy people among the few front seats and they seemed to be extremely drowsing and some had already fallen into deep sleeping, the worst part is that I saw even politicians getting into the house of the Lord and calling out the few remnants who sitting there in the pew (meaning that even the few remaining are joining politics and are entangled with the affairs of this life), so the Church remained literally empty as some of these few remnants walked out. And the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, " This people take Jesus for granted and this Church must face judgement." and I woke up...so If the Church of Christ is in such desolation at this hour and is taking Jesus' and His word for granted, who then will attend the wedding feast of the Lamb?...

The eternity of God, and heaven, and hell ( J. C. Ryle )

"And just as each person is appointed to die once  and after that comes judgment !" Hebrews 9:27 "And they will go away into eternal punishment ; but the righteous will go into eternal life." Matthew 25:46 The state of things after the judgment is changeless and without end. The misery of the lost, and the blessedness of the saved are both alike forever. Let no person deceive us on this point. It is clearly revealed in Scripture. The eternity of God, and heaven, and hell  all stand on the same foundation. As surely as God is eternal so surely is heaven an endless day without night, and hell an endless night without day!

On that death bed

A lot goes through your mind when you’re dying. What they say about life flashing before your eyes is true. You remember things from your childhood and adolescence—specific images, vivid and real, like brilliant sparks of light exploding in your brain. Somehow you’re able to comprehend the whole of your life in that single instant of reflection, as if it were a panoramic view. You have no choice but to look at your decisions and accomplishments—or lack of them—and decide for yourself if you did all that you could do. And you panic just a little, wishing for one more chance at all the beautiful moments you didn’t appreciate, or for one more day with the person you didn’t love quite enough. You also wonder in those frantic, fleeting seconds, as your spirit shoots through a dark tunnel, if heaven exists on the other side, and if so, what you will find there. What will it look like? What color will it be? Then you see a light—a brilliant, d...

A door of Cross into heaven

On 27 February 2016, at around 3 am the Lord, the most high God, Jehovah El Olam, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Tsidkenu, Jehovah Sabaoth He showed me a vision to the perfect Bride of Christ. I saw a door of Cross opened into heaven. It was the only door; The Cross, and I saw a great Glory and a glimpse of eternity behind the Cross. Jesus was there, I saw Him in His Majesty and Glory. I saw Him welcoming people who had passed through the door of the Cross into His everlasting kingdom. I saw Jesus giving a hug to those people like His blood brothers. And I was broken because there was intense darkness on earth and the Cross gave light to the World, and i woke up.  Jesus is coming for the Church. Enter now while the blood of Jesus still saves. Please brothers and Sisters, in the name of Christ Jesus, Don't loose focus, this is the hour to prepare in Holiness and righteousness for the Coming Messiah. Jesus Christ is the Only Way To Eternal Salvation With God the Father “Nor is th...

CHRIST CRUCIFIED

There is no doctrine in Christianity so important as the doctrine of Christ crucified. There is none which the devil tries so hard to destroy. There is none which it is so needful for our own peace to understand. By “Christ crucified,” I mean the doctrine that Christ suffered death on the cross to make atonement for our sins,-that by His death He made a full, perfect, and complete satisfaction to God for the ungodly,-and that through the merits of that death all who believe in Him are forgiven all their sins, however many and great, entirely, and for ever. About this blessed doctrine let me say a few words. The doctrine of Christ crucified is the grand peculiarity of the Christian religion. Other religions have laws and moral precepts, forms and ceremonies, rewards and punishments; but other religions cannot tell us of a dying Saviour: they cannot show us the cross. This is the crown and glory of the Gospel; this is that special comfort which belongs to it alone. Mis...

CALVARY BY J C RYLE

Image
You probably know that Calvary was a place close to Jerusalem, where the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was crucified. We know nothing else about Calvary beside this. I call this tract "Calvary," because I am going to speak to you about the sufferings and crucifixion of Christ. I am afraid that much ignorance prevails among people on the subject of Jesus Christ's sufferings. I suspect that many see no peculiar glory and beauty in the history of the crucifixion: on the contrary; they think it painful, humbling, and degrading. They do not see much profit in the story of Christ's death and sufferings: they rather turn from it as an unpleasant thing. Now I believe that such persons are quite wrong. I cannot agree with them. I believe it is an excellent thing for us all to be continually dwelling on the crucifixion of Christ. That is a good thing to be often reminded how Jesus was betrayed into the hands of wicked men,-how they condemned Him with most ...
