THE BRIDE FINALLY PRESENTED
On the throne sat the mightiest and holiest of
all Beings that ever trod our world — was the meekest of all. The Ancient
of Days — was as the "infant of days." He who had listened to nothing
but angel-melodies from all eternity, found, while on earth, melody in the lisping’s
of an infant's voice, or in an outcast's tears! No wonder an innocent lamb was
His emblem, or that the anointing Spirit came down upon Him in the form of the
gentle dove. He had the wealth of worlds at His feet. The hosts of
heaven had only to be summoned as His retinue. But all the pageantry of the
world, all its dreams of carnal glory, had, for Him — no fascination. Finally
the daughter of Zion was brought before Him who lives forever. She had passed
through supernatural, quiet purging. And ushered in with glory unfathomable
into the presence of the king of kings. She had been chosen, loved and pleased
of the Lord. She had the Spirit of Him who sat on the throne.
As beautiful as she was, in pure white bright and
spotless wedding gown she fell before the throne and the Spirit of Yahweh was moved, and then there came from the
throne the sound of a voice saying, “ praise our God, all his servants and all people
, both great and small, who have reverence for Him!” Then there came sounds like a large crown, like
the sounds of roaring waterfall, like loud peals of thunder. I heard them say, “Praise
God! For the Lord, our Almighty God, is
King! Let us Rejoice and be glad; let us praise his greatness ! For the time
has come for the wedding of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself for
it. She has been given brightest and clean garment to wear.” And there were
thunders and jubilations as the ancient of day held the sceptre of the daughter
of Zion. Jesus lifted her up. For ever since the creation, the entire heavens
has been waiting this un paralled, incomparable event.
